SAFETY

The app can prepare a question. It cannot receive a report.

Safety content establishes boundaries and points adults back to written policy, authorized leaders, qualified professionals, and local emergency services.

Before participation

Identify the organization with safeguarding responsibility, required screening or training, supervision rules, designated lead, reporting route, and applicable law.

During activity

Avoid isolated one-to-one situations, private messaging, secret-keeping, unnecessary physical contact, or personal transport outside approved procedures.

When concern arises

Listen calmly, avoid promises of secrecy, and follow the designated route. Do not investigate, question witnesses, or confront an alleged person yourself.

Immediate danger

Contact local emergency services and follow the responsible organization's urgent procedure. Beacon Fieldbook cannot monitor, dispatch help, or receive reports.

Professional boundaries

The app does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, tax, financial, accounting, architecture, engineering, construction, security, travel, crisis, or emergency advice. It does not guarantee safety, funding, certification, spiritual results, health outcomes, or eligibility.

Private notes are not records

Do not place allegations, incident details, names, youth information, health details, beneficiary records, financial data, or confidential cases into the local note. Use only systems approved by the responsible organization.
